Malaysian Independence Day 2011

Hey people, I am just dropping by to say hello. It's Kah Mun again! (:

I am hereby wishing all the Malaysians, Happy Independence Day 2011, and happy holidays to all of you too. It is such a coincidence, this year's Malaysian Independence Day and "Hari Raya" fall nearly on the same day. Normally, the eve of Malaysian Independence Day will be filled with joys and fun, countdown session to the August 31st, and fireworks. On the other hand, there were a lot of performances broadcasted on the television such as flag waving, military presentation, a parade, cultural activities, and so on. (:

It's a holiday again. During lunchtime, my family and I went to the Restaurant Sweet Bean ( "Tong Chi Dao" in cantonese) where is located at "Bandar Baru Sri Petalling". It was my first time eating at there, whereas my parents and brother have been visiting for several times.



You see? What a sweet name for the eatery! It is actually a cafe that serves a wide range of sweet soups and desserts, such as red bean, black sesame, peanut paste, and so on. Furthermore, they do serve a variety of traditional western foods and malaysian foods, such as chicken chop, steak, spaghetti, "nasi minyak", "wan tan mee", curry & "laksa" , and much more. (:





Seriously, interior and exterior designs say a lot about a restaurant. By right, I like the lighting and design of that restaurant. They chose the right lighting levels because different lighting levels set different moods for every customer. Same goes to the painting skills, they colored the walls white which are plain. Last but not least, I like the lamp designs! =D



I ordered a plate of seafood spaghetti with tomato sauce. It wasn't disappointing me at all as the sauce tasted slightly sour, the spaghetti was just smooth and its not too tough, the prawns and cuttlefish were fresh without an unpleasant smell. It was just edible for me.

My parents ordered a plate of "nasi minyak with chicken thigh" ( its kind of nasi lemak) and "nasi lemak" respectively, while my brother ordered a bowl of Thai Curry and Curry Fish Balls. At last, I shared a bowl of black sesame with my mum, whereas daddy and brother shared a bowl of red bean.






My mum would be mad at me by capturing so many pictures! =P

Malaysia public holidays

I am hereby wishing all the Muslim friends, Selamat Hari Raya! (:

Today was a sunny day and not a cloud was in the sky, I woke up a bit late this morning (about 10am) as I had an insomnia last night, it's been a few days since I didn't have an insomnia, perhaps I should do something to avoid it.

I suggested to bring my parents to have breakfast in Restauran Lim Kee Pan Mee at Taman Taynton, which my family and I have been visiting there for countless times. I prefer eating the pan mee at there, the noodles was very smooth and chewy, and of course, the soup was deeply flavorful which they have put a lot of fresh ingredients to cook it. I bet you would feel like drinking all the soup. There were "ikan bilis", minced pork, vegetable, and mushroom as side dishes. There are two types of noodles, round or flat mee, but I prefer flat mee. It was very tasty!

Furthermore, they do serve pork mee, dumpling, and curry mee. But, curry mee is served during public holidays only! Honestly, it was my first time to taste the curry mee at there. (:



I prefer eating curry mee too but I don't often eat it, this is because it contains high amount of fats in a bowl. The curry soup was flavorful too as they have added coconut milk, the chicken and clam meat were juicy and fresh, there were long bean ,bean sprouts, and fried bean curd. It tasted not bad. Small portion of a bowl but it looked bigger. Moreover, the price was fair too. (:

After that, my parents and I went to The Mines. We roamed all around there, eating snacks while walking and talking craps. I felt warm by spending time with my parents, its a nature feeling which I never have with my friends.



It's been a long time since I didn't take a cup of coffee. We stopped at Restaurant Oldtown White Coffee. I have ordered a cup of mocha with white coffee, whereas my parents have ordered a cup of traditional Oldtown white coffee. SMILE. (:

I normally have my eye sight testing in an optical shop at The Mines, the purpose of going to The Mines today was ordering a new pair of spectacle before my degree is started. (: Firstly I was having my eye sight testing with a special equipment called Auto Refractometer , after that I was assigned to have trial frame for refraction. I am glad that my eyes' power and axis are still remained the same. I have ordered two spectacles, one is with frame, another one is without frame. I look great with both spectacles. =D ( Picture will be capturing soon )

Fabulous Outing with Fabulous Friends

By the second week of holiday, there was an outing on Thursday (7/7/2011). Zoe, Joyce, Yee Shan, Lynn, and I, five of us went to karaoke. This is the third time I've been to karaoke this year, I know that my gang would prefer karaoke more than go for a movie. Nevertheless, I prefer both of them. (:

I reached the Sungei Wang at 10.45am ( I walked to there from home? ) Nope, I took the train from my house area, it's been a period of time since I didn't take the train for traveling right after I have got my car license, unless my friends and I took train for lunch when there was a long break, actually taking train could be fun and adventurous, I don't know why I feel so, perhaps it's due to the speed of the train, aha! =D I also wished there will be a chance for me to ride A ROCKET? OH NO! =D

Yeah, they were late, but we finally got there, which was Green Box Karaoke, we 5 people renting a room for 3 hours. It was $12+ bucks per person with free drink and snack, set lunch was not included. Most of the time I sang English and Korean songs, haha, none of them really knew well the lyrics of Korean songs though, and I didn't sing well because I don't have the talent in singing. I like Zoe and Lynn's singing voice, their voices were nice compared to mine. When it came to the dancing part, we just stood up and danced ! =D

After the karaoke, we walked to Pavillion for shopping, on the way to Pavillion we passed by Lot 10 and Jalan Bukit Bintang, we have planned to buy a birthday present for a friend so by right we just stopped at Vincci Shop and looking for girl's accessories and handbags. Some bags look nicer but we bought nothing at last so we left the place. We were heading to Pavillion after that.

At Pavillion, we were so crazy to shop , and non-stop walking, most of the time we were looking for girl's accessories and handbags. =)

Eventually I had bought a pair of earrings from Vincci Shop, while Zoe had bought a hairband.

Lynn left earlier than us, while Zoe and Joyce left the place after 6 o' clock, Yee Shan and I went to Lowyat after 6 o' clock. I think they might feel tired walking so long in the whole afternoon.


So yeah, I got a new set of earphones. APPLE BRAND! Whereas Shan had got her new hard drive which cost several hundreds.

Eventually we walked to Hang Tuah LRT Station, we waved good bye to each other and took the different train to home. (:

Dental Check-up

Hey people, my life is great after the exam is ended, fortunately the stress levels haven't been too bad, I've fully recovered from serious long term stomach bloating, and also mental tiredness. So yeah, I look slightly pale and haggard (not really). =)

It is vitally important that we make dental check-ups for a part of our routine, do you agree? By the way, if you're asking me how often would I have my dental check-up, I would have it once or twice per year.

I still remember when I was small, I felt freaking anxious and nervous about going to the dentist to get my teeth plucked, OUCH, or I would just have my teeth pulled at home, I was petrified to get my wisdom teeth pulled by using a string, or just using my hand, or else my dad would just helped me out ! LOL! TERRIFIED! Luckily the blood stopped bleeding. Aha. Right After Standard 4 I think, I started to take care of my tooth very well, I seldom have my teeth plucked then (: , unless I would have my dental check-up. (:

After exam, dental check-up is one of the task in my list, I can't ignore my task man! LOL! I went to Yulek to have my dental check-up at afternoon, when I was being served I asked the dentist to check my tooth and wash it (: So yeah,luckily my tooth is healthy. With his specialist equipments, the dentist gave me a session of dental treatment by scaling and polishing , and so my tooth is being CLEANED. (DING) =D



Recently I am watching a Hong Kong's drama! Life is great especially when there is a holiday! (:

A boring day made interesting

After exam, I don't use my brain much, I just left my brain empty, I don't want to think...all stuffs, not at all. My next step towards my studies, I've planned it, leave it and I don't wanna worry about it first. Stay relaxed ! (:

So, I was given this medicine for stomach bloating and mental tiredness, and I will stay at home until I've fully recovered. Gosh, I've been eating medicine since 20th of July until now, and I've been seeing doctor for about 3 times! But luckily, I have got looked to Tradition Chinese medicine instead of western medicine, I seriously hate the chemical taste of syrup or tablet, YUCK.

I must drink plenty of water, an "auto-reminder" from my brain, it's DONE! (: Next, think before eat, beware of fake foods? Some foods that contain artificial preservative which used to prevent it from decaying? Honestly, I am still worrying if there's a large amount of preservative or spice turning all over my digestive system! Awwww, please stop worrying! GET WELL SOON! (:

Today, it was raining early in the morning, thought I could go to do a facial with my mother, but I am shivering with cold, DUH! Eventually I drove my mother to beauty saloon and accompanied her for lunch, after that I left my mother there for the facial and then I went back to home and REST. ): Hmmmm.... Perhaps I am still on MEDICINE MEAL !

I found something interesting...



Turned over my bookshelf, I found two books in photostat copied, they are THIRD EDITION of Biological Science 1 and Biological Science 2, the first one contains 435 pages and the following one contains 975 pages. Book 1 and 2 comprise a complete text and all syllabuses in Biological Science! LOVE BIOLOGY! =D They are great book and reference for Biology Student! *READING AND STUDYING* =D

Chinese New Year (Day 2 & 3)

I stayed at home the whole day by yesterday,I don't know why,I was stunned and overwhelmed by the feelings of guilt,depress,and anger..Ewww,I should not have this feelings during Chinese New Year..But,it was the first time that I am extremely down and depressed...IT WAS THE FIRST TIME! I pretended to be happy in front of my parents,brother,and my friends,and all people. ): When I am alone,I'll remove my mask,Ha! Ewwww,I feel sorry to release my feelings in here, ): I am sorry,my happy blog. ):

Ignore it first,today I brought my brother to KL Sentral to have lunch..=)It was his first time to be there,we walked into KL Sentral Railway Station and I brought him to a western restaurant to have lunch,there are only a few good restaurants,and most of them are fast food restaurants such as Mc Donald, KFC, Burger King, Subway, Secret Recipe, Chicken Rice Shop and much more. (: Sometimes my friends and I used to have lunch together at there,the duration of travel(walk) from college is about 10 minutes..=D

We were eating in Cafe Panettone with "Art of Bread restaurant has just renovated". =D

It is a small cafe which has been serving breakfast,lunch,and dinner. The foods are good as normal. It serves Malaysian foods,spaghetti,grilled foods,breakfast foods,fried foods,salad,beverages and others..Moreover,the prices are reasonable! =)
I will definitely back to that restaurant again! =D

Chinese New Year (Day 1)

Year of the Rabbit Chinese New Year begins today,(: I am here wishing everyone a happy Chinese New Year and happy holidays (:,may this year brings you lots of joys,good health and wealth,successes,happiness,and prosperity with abundance..(:

Yeah,I countdown to the Lunar New Year with my family at home,I helped out my mother to fill up those red envelopes with money..(: while on-lining and listened to music!
Unfortunately,I crashed and hit my knee to the corner of my bed,): my knee is swollen and bruised,OUCH!..I hate my carelessness attitude,and it recalls me that I carelessly did mistakes in exams?And also carelessly broke someone's heart?? =O Hmmmm,let it be,come back to the main title,so I slept at 5am,OMG? Haha,I was busy with those stuff until early in the morning! COOL,one year once? Haha,Gong Xi Fa Cai (:

I woke up at 10.30am this morning,and I roamed around my house for a while,errr what's wrong with me?(I should clean up myself first,haha)

Before I left my house,

I took a bowl of lotus seeds sweet soup,as a symbol of welcoming the Chinese New Year (: Wow,the sweet soup is filled with lots ingredients such as dried Longan,white fungus,and lotus seeds..(: Haha,we used to serve as dessert at the beginning of meal for every Chinese New Year. (:

My family and I headed to a vegetarian restaurant at Taman Connaught,we had a vegetarian meal for our lunch. (:

After that,I visited relatives' houses on my mother's side,my mother has many siblings so we may be very busy! LOL!
Today I've paid a visit to 3 uncles' houses...(: I met my aunts and cousins,they served us with foods and beverages. (: Chit-chatting,laughed,and watched TV! (:


If you ask me that how many angpau I get today?

Chinese New Year Eve

Ah,how time flies.Today was the last day of the year of Tiger in lunar calendar,so it's called Chinese New Year Eve. (: It is a day where Chinese families gather for their annual reunion dinner.
Today I woke up at 1pm,I did not bluff you guys,I sleep too much this recently since the examination is over.Haha! =D I went out to have lunch this afternoon,whoa,there was a smooth flow of traffic in KL,I imagined all the days without traffic congestion in KL,how peacefully it is. =D LOL....I took my lunch at Salak South Garden,just not far from my house..

I helped out my mother to prepare ingredients and cook for the reunion dinner,
and I felt so full after eating the reunion dinner man! =D


This fish tastes so yummy. =P

Fresh vegetables are fresh ingredients for the reunion dinner! =D

Last but not least,lotus root soup. (:
Lotus roots are so nutritious and crunchy! =D
And yeah,you will frequently find candied of lotus root during Chinese New Year,as a symbol of abundance what! So,it is an important dishes for Chinese! =)

Clean up for the CNY

Hello February 2011,I am right here to fill you with my new life,I am now on holiday and there are only 5 days left,Chinese New Year is around the corner,and it is only one day ahead.

I could feel the atmosphere in shopping malls for the past few days,and even markets..=)And yeah,paper lanterns are the Chinese Tradition and are often seen as decoration during Chinese New Year. =) Other than that,I could see other Chinese New Year crafts such as Chinese New Year fans,welcome door hanger,cardboard tube red fire crackers,red envelopes,mandarin oranges,plum blossoms and much more. (:

Seriously,I am not really in the mood for the coming Chinese New Year,I've faced with a lot of sad thoughts this recently,stressed out from examination,relationship problem,stressed out for the coming semester,and scared for the coming results.Ah,what am I talking right now?I am recalling back my sad thoughts again.You must be stronger,Mun! (:

I was free today,so I gonna clean up my room,my comfort bed,my lovely desk,and my book racks..First of all I teared out all the books and papers from the book racks,wiped my desk and book racks with a piece of cloth,and arranged all the books and papers according to subjects,one side for Biology,followings by Chemistry,Physics,and Maths..Sounds funny? xD I changed my bed sheet as well,if you ask me how often I change my bed sheet?I will tell you once per month. =D

Ah,I forgot to clean up my drawer! Will be continued by tomorrow. (:

Tonight my mother cooked a simple dinner for us,fried cabbage and eggs,and meat..

Yesterday my family and I had a great "捞生" session..

An outing with college mates

There was another outing again today,I reached the "The Garden" late in the morning,around half past eleven..(: I took the escalator up to fourth floor..And yeah,Red Box Karaoke here I am =D...

My friends reached it much earlier so I could just get into the karaoke room 'without permission'....xD....Oh,3 microphones with six people,we shouted,shouted,and shouted out LOUD (:.Some more,we stood up the sofa and danced,and even jumping up to the sofa,it was a good way to release all the tensions and angers from sad thoughts!
We also captured a lot of photos all the time in Redbox..the foods and beverages at there was edible...
At last,RM 107 + for the bill ! Aha!

After that,we went to Mid Valley for window shopping,next we headed to cinema for a movie (: - "Shaolin"...Ah,It was a best touching movie that I've never watched before,until my tear dropped off!
Last,we headed to Baskin Robbin stall to grab a scoop of ice-cream =P.
Oh....It was 6.30pm.

Nothing Special

Today is the second day of "Hari Raya Adilfitri",and it falls on Saturday,
so here I would like to say "Have a good weekend" =) to all my friends and family..

Nothing special,I did get much sleep by last night,and I slept like a log,I love to sleep,sleeping is same alike recharging your body's energy.
I woke up at 11.30am,I switched on the television,hmmmmm,pressed the buttons of remote control to channel 613,oh yeah,Tv programme for kids--"Sponge Bobs",LOL....But my favourite kiddie show is "Tom and Jerry" lah (=DDDDD)
After that I pressed the buttons of remote control again to channel 852--Hitz Fm.....I was listening to Hitz weekends' musics while cleaning up myself,LOL

You know what!
I went to the same place with my parents again--Maluri's Jaya Jusco,

A scoop of ice-cream (Baskin Robbins),this is vanilla with chocolate chips ice-cream!
Awww...ice cream is exquisite,especially the sweetness in freezing point! =D

Family Day aka Holiday

Today is the day of holiday,yeah it is Adilfitri holiday,
No Hari Raya Adilfitri,No holiday??? LOL =D.....
Got Hari Raya Adilfitri,got holiday,I like holiday,so can I conclude that I like Hari Raya Adilfitri too? =D (LAME!CRAZY!LOL!xD)

I woke up at 9am sharp this morning,I stood at the corner of my living room,I was looking at the sky and the ground,the outside paths were moist with dew and damp,a cool breeze drifted through the open window,and it ventilated all around my house,it was cool and refreshing (I thought,how good it is if I could enjoy the coolness of the morning breeze everyday? =D )
After that I went to clean up myself,and I looked at myself in the mirror.(oh yeah,I still have a nice-looking) (cheh,perasan =D)....and I combed my long hair out!
Oh,I rushed to sms to my dear,it's time for him to wake up because today he got to work(I miss him dreadfully,I think,LOL....),actually we are just started this relationship,and perhaps we are the puppets of fate?Seriously,I have no regret about to be with him,we are matched,LOL....It's okay we just do our BEST together to strive for excellent =).....

With my parents,
I got in my car and drove off to have breakfast with them,err...we were having "dim sum" at Taman Tasik Permaisuri.
Soon,I drove back to my area's "pasar",we just walked into it and found nothing!
After that,we were heading to Maluri's Jusco,but unfortunately,its opening time for today is 1pm,oh my gosh?
We had no choice but my parents asked me to fetch them to Yulek to buy other stuffs,i.e fruits and moon cakes....it is because they would like to give them to their friends as a gift.
I parked my car while they walked to Yulek's "pasar" =.=, (LOL my cute parents)
Finally they had brought a watermelon,pears,a papaya and so on,O.o....then I accompanied them to other grocery shops to buy moon cakes!
Next,we went back to Maluri's Jusco again,it was 12.30pm,LOL....30 minutes left!

Nevermind,we--daddy,mummy,and I were just sitting down inside the McDonald restaurant which was located outside of the Jusco...to ...WAIT lah....=DDDD.......
Time went by quickly,1 pm here we go! =D
I saw the front door was lifted up. After a few minutes,there were lots of people inside the Jusco.... (for sure,holiday mah =D)
My parents were roaming around the moon cake's stalls,there were so many different kinds of moon cakes,so WOW ("modern world",these words were floated in my mind,modern generation produce modern "moon cake"? =D)
4 boxes of moon cakes were hanging on their hands,I helped them to carry one box la,pitiful,wasted around 200 bucks..=D
Well,I fetched them back to home,like that....
be a driver the whole day!!!!worth it,I love my parents =)......

Now,it is 6 o' clock in the evening,
I am preparing now for my cousin's wedding party tonight,
it's supposed to be a catering night at my cousin's house...=3....
HAHA,and...
you know what am I going to prepare for her?shhhhh....
I will give a pearl bracelet to her as a gift!!!!!shhhh...
LOL.....

Time files,tomorrow we are going to celebrate 53rd anniversary of National Day.

So,how are we going to celebrate it?
I read a news from newspapers,it said that this year Malaysia will celebrate its 53rd Independence Day on Tuesday,31 August 2010 with the theme of "One Malaysia Transforming the Nation.The national independence celebration this year will begin from August 1 to September 16.

And Isssshhhhhh.......
I'm celebrating my eve of National Day by chilling at home doing revision for the Qualifying Exam,
I shouldn't be upset,it is good for my 'future',oh my gosh?? xDDDD

Oops,I am serious,I will go out by tomorrow,
I want to away from home!!!!!!!!

a 'holiday'

There will be 1 week of holidays by next week.
What the golden holiday is it! But then all the holidays go by quickly with blinking!!
Ha, you just blink once then all the holidays are gone,is it fairly and reasonable?

LOL,sadly,after the holidays,a stupid test called 'Qualifying Exam' comes to 'attack' me and my friends,
As my physic lecturer said:"once you have failed the test,a letter will be sent through 'POSLAJU' to your home mailbox..Aha,
therefore,I will spend my holidays with revision,how sad is it?
What the bitter disappointment,MAN!
I really wished to hang out to breath some fresh air which is OXYGEN,O2.
I can make it,just for one or two days?

Chinese New Year's 'break'!!!!

Overall,I'm not satisfied that the duration of the holidays during Chinese New Year,
next Wednesday have to go back to college,sigh!!!
3-4 days only.....
compared to secondary school's life,the duration of the 'break' was around a week,
fortunately,my hometown was located at Kuala Lumpur,
I'm proud of that,without taking a long time to arrive there (hometown that from other state),
It's damn freaking dizzy by sitting in the car for such a long time!!!
I'm really agree with that...
whee....x)....
Some more,there is a number of assignments to do during CNY.....
that situation is like...to bear and carry the BURDEN to the holidays!
it's a responsibility for me to complete the works!!
can I have a enjoyable CNY without any homework or assignment???
